Description

ART PEPPER  Meets The Rhythm Section - Contemporary records C 3532  DG MONO FIRST PRESS.  Deep groove.

This is a TRUE first pressing, Red ink title and red box on the back.  The second issue has blue ink title and a red box.

Matrix numbers:  Side 1:  LKL-12-121-D2
                             Side 2:  LKL-12-122-D2

LP is visually VG++, plays VG+.  Bold, crisp sound with minor surface noise.  A nice copy.
Jacket is VG to VG+, no upper or lower seam splits, some spine wear. 

Regarded by many as Pepper's finest record.  Paired up with the great Miles Davis' rhythms section of Red Garland, Philly Joe Jones & Paul Chambers.
