ART: What's That Sound (For What It's Worth) / Rome Take Away Three (´68 / very rare 1st German issue / FONTANA 269 371 TF / black label with silver top /  this German issue was released in early 1968, just a bit later than the 1st U.K.  issue, which came out at the end of 1967, but it is the original German issue - like all other early Island label recordings in Germany this 7" was released on the Fontana label, because the Island label didn´t exist yet in Germany at the time, when this record came out / another notable fact: the track "For What It's Worth" was of course not written by a certain Mr. Mills, as wrongly stated on the label, but this is of course the song, that was written by Stephen Stills for his band, Buffalo Springfield!)

CONDITION P/S: VG(-) to VG-
CONDITION VINYL: VG to VG(-)

DESCRIPTION:

large seam split on the left side (the seam is ca. 80% split down from the top) / small seam split on the right side (ca. 1,5 cm length) / the corners and the top of the p/s are quite heavily bent, and there are some creases, crinklings and folding lines at the top and on the corners (but the p/s has only 4 tiny tears of 1 mm to 3 mm length into the top opening) / small sticker on the right top corner of the back sleeve / otherwise the p/s is in a very nice condition: there´s a slight impression of the record´s center in the middle, but the p/s has only a rather moderate ringwear / the vinyl has some hairlines and a few light surface scratches, but there are no deeper, "serious" scratches / the labels are clean
