THE ASCENDORS-45-“I Won’t Be Home” b/w “My Friend”-Lee Records #105-5-Star MONSTER 1966 Hornell, New York Garage-Punk. Hornell is near Rochester/Buffalo-Upstate New York. This is a MONSTER Garage-Punker-A side is the PERFECT track-real mean, gutteral, Jagger-ish lead vocals, great backups, guitar dominated, wailing drums, KILLER Lead guitar break. Sort of reminds me of the HEATHANS ‘Other Way Around’-very similar sound-PRIMITIVE & KILLER! B side is a very cool primitive guitar instrumental... Real DYNAMITE!!! One of the BEST. TOP 5 MONSTER!!!! Condition: Record is VG+ or better. I want to say close to MINT-Minus, but closer to VG+... Has some very light paper scuffs /very light surface scuffs visible in certain light angles. Also a verly slight-nearly unnoticeable slight warp. Beautiful copy really.
