"Pleasant Hill's Ascensions had a successful year, performing at various concerts and contests.
The group hosted the 2nd Annual Pleasant Hill Invitational Vocal Jazz Festival, where they placed first in their division. Next, they traveled to Stevenson, Washington to compete in the Columbia Gorge Vocal Jazz Festival. They were the only group from Oregon to perform and they also took first place.
In April the Ascensions went to Newport, Oregon to compete in the Fifth Annual Swing Choir Festival, where for the fifth year they brought home the first place trophy.
The last contest of the year was the Northwest Vocal Jazz Festival at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon.
Special performances during the year included singing for audiences at the Rodeway Inn, Valley River Inn on three occasions, and for the Student Body at Oakridge High School."
The record is STILL SEALED. Cover and record are in MINT CONDITION.
