Description
If I was visually grading this record I would say it was near mint. Unfortunately however, playback reveals some quite distressing ticking. This occurs during Side 1 between 0.05 & 0.55, then between 1.15 & 1.40, then between 1.55 & 2.40. The narration sounds off to me as well but I cannot put my finger on why. It might be a pressing fault with the groove not properly accepting the stylus. It is definitely not related to any scratches as the ticks don't occur at the same point of the disc's rotation. Sometimes it sounds more like groove burn so it may have been damaged by a chipped stylus. Side 2 is better but there is some surface noise at times which is rather strange between 5.00 & 5.15. Side 2 also ticks very lightly between 12.55 & 13.10. The sleeve is in very good order with a bit of wear on the bottom seam, the top & bottom ofthe jacket opening.
All records are vacuum cleaned on a KAB EV-1. I'm happy to combine postage. Please check my "items for sale" in case there's something else you might be interested in.
