My Record Condition Grading System

I have recently introduced a VISUAL grading system, ONLY, as follows:

as I CANNOT PLAY RECORDS .....so will give best account i can....

Grading:

MIGHT PUT PLUS OR MINUS AFTER

MINT MINUS... M-,... ( is the highest i will give as no records are perfect)

NEAR-MINT,.. N-M...., almost flawless, ...only the lightest scuff marks to the record,... slight wear to the cover.....

EXCELLENT, ...EX..., a few more light surface marks ..lightess of surface scratches ..., light ring wear or creasing to cover,.. slight tears to the cover. ..Remains of price labels or sellotape evident to the cover and or writing.

VERY-GOOD, ...V-G...., more obvious marks to the record longer light scratches,There may be ticks or pops from the records light scratches / marks ....more obvious creasing, ring wear or laminate lift, worse tears to the cover.

Records are viewed under both daylight and under a magnified light  - this very clearly shows any marks....
