HMV ASD 493 - BRUCKNER SYMPHONY No.9 in D MINOR, CARL SCHURICHT conducting the V.P.O.

A rare and sought after record - this one does not turn up very often. First issue on the white and gold label.

The sleeve grades at VG - bumps at corners, scuffed/small splits at opening edge corners. Front top lh corner a trifle squashed/flattened. Crease lines at front top rh corner, front bottom lh corner, mid front opening edge, and mid front spine side edge. Spine is in pretty good shape, and spine lettering is fine. Rear cover shows some spotting, mostly to top section. There is a name in pen at the rear top rh edge.

The vinyl grades at EX+ and has obviously been played a very few times only. Slight bloom from the inner sleeve, and because of this I would recommend a professional clean. Very faint 'in and out of the sleeve' traces on extreme close scrutiny. Labels are minty. Original EMI inner sleeve shows corner creasing. A super record.
