Description

Rare record in MINT condition.  "Russian Orchestral Masterpieces."  George Pretre conducts the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a programme including Capriccio Espagnol (Rimsky-Korsakov); In the Steppes of Central Asia (Borodin); A Night on Bare Mountain (Mussorgsky orch. Ravel); Polovtsian Dances (From "Prince Igor") (Borodin orch. Rimsky-Korsakov and Glazunov)  Released on HMV Records in 1962 (ASD 509) with the original gold/white label design.  Matrix Nos are 2YEA 655-4 and 2YEA 656-4.

This is not a record that you are going to come across every day and you will have to hunt high and low to find a copy in better condition than this.  The sleeve is in "factory fresh" condition.  The record, likewise, is literally as good as new and plays with only the very slightest background noise (not really noticeable other than in the gaps between tracks) and no pops, clicks or jumps.  This is not the rarest record in the catalogue but copies in this condition do not crop up every day.
