There's actually no need to introduce the legendary Ethiopian jazz and funk scene and its musicians. These discs are true historical artefacts of a glorious era of East African music which was a truly otherworldly and original form of music with incredible dynamics. Today it has become extremely difficult to locate these discs in Ethiopia, more harder than ever to the point of impossible. Please bear in mind there aren't any possible 'second chances' on these discs any more.
This is an LP record on Kaifa Records by the duo Aselefech Ashine and Getenesh Kebret. Absolutely fantastic LP!! I loved each and every track on the disc but unfortunately there is no cover and the disc is in P (poor) condition. Countless scuffs and a few deep scratches that a couple of them skip. These skips went through on my turntable and a very proffesional cleaning job may even make them go away but they are there. Given the facts that these were even rare at the time of their releases (LPs were luxury material back when they were around, not many copies were released!) and also these records have been treated very badly in time and today, it's a wonder that it still exists. Absolutely fantastic album despite everything about the disc itself.
