AN ORIGINAL AND SUPER RARE 1971 Jazz/Funk ALBUM IN THE MOST PRISTINE CONDITION.

Assagai was an Afro-rock band from South Africa, active in the early 1970s in London. It consisted of five members: drummer Louis Moholo, Trumpeter/Flautist Mongezi Feza, Tenor Saxophonist Bizo Muggikana, Guitarist Fred Cocker, and Alto Saxophonist Dudu Pukwana.

The LP comes on the rare Vertigo Swirl Record Labels, with circled P date 1971.

Both record labels are in immaculate Mint Minus condition, beautiful clean and undamaged record labels with just signs of a couple of play to each label.

Both sides of the vinyl disc are is truly immaculate and unmarked Mint condition, simply beautiful unmarked super clean glossy vinyl disc that looks new.

The LP plays beautifully through all the tracks, a stunning faultless sound quality from this album, and an amazing cover version of The Beatles 1968 No1 single Hey Jude.

The LP comes in its original Made In England poly lined Vertigo Records Swirl Inner bag and is housed in its original and immaculate gatefold Picture Sleeve.

The gatefold Picture Sleeve is also immaculate and in undamaged Mint Minus condition. The sleeve is free from handwriting, tearing and seam splits with just a couple of tiny corner bumps.
