Description
This is the original 1st vinyl LP released by ATOMIC ROOSTER in 1970.
N.B. It is the rare very first miss-pressed issue of this vinyl LP. The third and fourth songs on each side have been recorded on the opposite side of the record. The sleeve and both labels contain the correct order of the tracks.
This 1st Press "miss-press" vinyl LP is documented on the DISCOGS website.
This pressing is also known as "the original keyboard only mix".
It does not contain the addition of John Du Cann's guitars, who joined Atomic Rooster, just after the original release. Later versions of the LP feature John Du Cann.

The LP is the original first pressing on the B&C records label, numbered CAS 1010, and the matrix numbers in the vinyl runout are:
Side A : CAS + 1010 + A
- Side B: CAS + 1010 + B
I use the "Record Collectors Grading System" which can be viewed on the Record Collector website.
I use "+" and "-" to provide a more precise grading, where a record sits between 2 grades.
VINYL
Audio Quality
During play test, it played like almost like a new record, with no audio issues, and is hence rated NM for audio quality.
Visual Appearance
Visually the vinyl is unmarked, and is rated as EX+ for visual appearance
The labels are a black textured finish, and a number of spindle marks can be seen when held to the light, and hence the labels are rated as VG+ for visual appearance
COVER
** PLEASE NOTE ** - The cover was defective from new, and the top and bottom edges of the cover were not joined at manufacture (see photos).
(If you already have a decent cover of this album, but are looking for a good copy of the vinyl, then this copy would be ideal.)
The cover was joined with sellotape to another cover many years ago, but is no longer present after drying out, leaving a (non-sticky) beige mark around the edges (see photo).
The cover was non-laminated and being over 50 years old, it is discoloured and has some surface marks.
The back cover has a correction to the track running order written lightly in pencil, and would probably rub off, although I have not attempted to do this (see photo).
Due to the sellotape marks, and manufacture problem, the cover is hard to rate, but is probably Poor to Fair (please see photos)
