LP-Title: Cassandra Wilson – New Moon Daughter

Original UK-pressing of this double LP from 1995 on BLUE NOTE, 7243 8 37183 1 3. Contains the original record-sized insert with complete lyrics and line-up for each track. C.Wilson gives an incredible performance of selfwritten tracks plus cover-versions of tunes made famous by Son House, Neil Young, Johnny Mercer, Billie Holiday, The Monkees, Hank Williams or Robert Johnson. Great blend of Jazz, Pop and Countryblues , intimate settings ft. different line-ups basically performing on acoustic instruments, beautifully recorded and pressed in true audiophile soundquality. One of the finest female-vocal albums ever.

Condition: unplayed & new copy, but on the first 2 tracks on side 2 there is a visual, non-feelable pressing-artifact: there are a few shadowy spots with a different kind of black colour than the rest of the vinyl, I have playgraded these 2 tracks and they play in mint all of the time . So the sides 1,3 & 4 are unplayed plus the last track on side 2. First 2 tracks on side 2 have been played once and are playgraded mint.

The cover has intact seams/spine with a few spots with rub in the top-seam and a little more minimal rub on the bottom-seam; the spine and both front & back are fine, slightest cornerwear, overall ex. Please see all photos. The insert is as new in mint-.
