Title: Ana Caram – Rio After Dark

Original US pressing from 1991 on CHESKY RECORDS, JR-28. Recorded at RCA Studio A in New York in April 1989, pressed on heavy pure virgin vinyl. Extensive liner-notes on the back about music, production etc. Great brazilian music by A.C.Jobim, Edu Lobo, C.Vaz, Paulo Jobim a.o., one of bossa novas icons is even featured guest-musician: Antonio Carlos Jobim ! Mastered by Tim de Paravicini on his own custom built all-tube cutting system. One of the best sounding of all Chesky releases, highly acclaimed among collectors of audiophile recordings.

Grading & Cleaning:

• the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

• after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

• I also visually graded the record under a strong light

• only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

• cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !
