Title: The Kroumata Percussion Ensemble

Original first release from 1983 on the Swedish label BIS, LP-232. Pressed & Mastered in Germany by TELDEC. Beautiful laminated foldout-cover with extensive linernotes in French, Swedish, German & English. This is the first of 2 BIS recordings of the worldfamous Swedish percussion ensemble. Audiophile recording, production and pressing making this a true audiophile highlight. Rare and highly recommended.

Condition: there are many moments of complete silence on this record, due to the fact that this is percussion music with silent parts and breaks. I've listened to the complete record carefully :

Side 1 looks mint- in daylight and in normal artificial light, under a real strong light you'll see a few tiny marks. At the beginning there are some tics behind the music for ca. 10 seconds, there are some more occasional tics in just a few places, but side 1 still plays in mint- nearly all of the time, I playgrade it overall as vg.

Side 2 looks mint- to mint-- in all kind of lights, it plays in mint- all of the time with just one exception: there is one single tic next to the music at the beginning after some seconds, the rest plays in mint-. I playgrade side 2 as mint--.

The laminated foldout-cover is in mint-.

Grading & Cleaning:

• the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

• after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

• I also visually graded the record under a strong light

• only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

• cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !
