Description

With two of rock’s biggest names, Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden, no more, Audioslave brought together one of the past decade’s unmistakable instrumental sections with one of its most accomplished vocalists.

Luckily, the marriage worked a treat, with Chris Cornell’s velvety tones proving the ideal foil for Tom Morello’s distinctive riffs and Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk’s funky rhythms.

Now reissued via Music on Vinyl, the supergroup’s eponymous debut featured some of their finest numbers in Cochise, Show Me How to Live and Like a Stone, and comes recommended to any advocate of towering, riff-laden rock.
