Condition : cover shows a slight ring wear and two imprints of the number 3501 in the top of both sides, EX+ / vinyl has a few minor scuffs which do not affect play at all, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : "Bocaccio Soul" he un'esplosiva carica di sonorità rhythm'n'blues e notevoli vene funky sulle orme che due anni prima James Brown aveva tracciato. Sarebbe forse più giusto parlare di proto-funk ma la ritmica scatenata della canzone con un'elettrizzante sezione di ottoni supera ogni sua scolastica definizione e non si può fare a meno di ballarla. I timbri vocali sono realmente superbi: sia la sanguigna energia della non accreditata cantante che apre la canzone, sia quella piena di soul di Paul Trim, nato nello stato di Trinidad e Tobago e voce solista del gruppo Spagnolo dei Pop Tops. Basso e batteria conducono il ritmo con improvvise interruzioni e ripartenze. Sul secondo lato "This Lonely Heart Needs of You", piacevole ballata dalle tonalità soul delicate interpretata dallo stesso Paul Trim. Ambedue le canzoni sono in Inglese.

Notes : "Bocaccio Soul" is an emotional explosion of rhythm and blues sound with remarkable funky veins following in the footsteps that a couple of years earlier James Brown delineated. It would perhaps be more correct to speak of proto-funk but the unleashed rhythm of the song with an exciting brass section exceeds any pedantic definition and you can not do unless to dance. The vocal timbres are really superb:  both the red-blooded verve of the uncredited female singer who opens the song and the soulful voice of Paul Trim, born in Trinidad and Tobago and lead singer of the Panish group Pop Tops. Bass and drums magnificently lead the rhythm with some sudden breaks. On the second side "This Lonely Heart Needs of You", a pleasing ballad from delicate soul tones sung by the same Paul Trim. Both songs are in English.

I contrasti generazionali degli anni sessanta vissuti in una locale alla moda situato in una famosa via di Barcellona. Film musicale e drammatico di produzione Spagnola. Regia di Luis Marquina, con Sara Montiel, Patrick Buchau, Jacinto Esteva, Jaime Picas e Teresa Gimpera.
