This Life of Mine/Peace of Mind

Absolutely classic rare 45 from lost band The Lost Souls.

I will just grade this a VG+ to save arguments, but it plays a lot better than it looks and doesn’t skip at all, even if it has a few scratches and scuffs as well as the unmistakable light crackle of a well-used copy…and understandably, given the excellence of the songs. I found this in the proverbial dusty box under a house and was blown away by it, it’s easily in the class of the Loved Ones for my money and was a revelation because I was around back then and never heard of them. It’s a lost classic for sure.

 I’ve seen this go for US250, so I’m not being unreasonable These sides are available on separate compilations but not together anywhere else except on the original vinyl to my knowledge. A real treasure.
