Description
Several years ago I bought (separately) the record collections of the only two editors of Australian rock mag, 'RAM'. They included many exclusive promotional-only LPs, white label promo's, test pressings even....plus many mint condition 'stock' items...and all manner of other goodies (including many signed items, from their tenure at said magazine).
Here's one of them:
ARTIST: AUSTRALIATITLE: "MAIDEN AUSTRALIA"
FORMAT: …vinyl LP…
LABEL: LIVING SOUND
CATALOGUE #: VXL1-4040
DATE OF RELEASE: 1976
PRESSED IN: AUSTRALIA
ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Yes, it is...includes inner sleeve with all lyrics...
In an unusual promotional twist, the label embossed in silver, the individual names of just a few of the influential Aussie media personalities they serviced with this...on the front cover. Looks utterly professional and as if it's part of the cover design...this one has RAM editor Anthony O'Grady's name embossed at lower left.
Has both cover stickers still intact: for APHEX recording process, and sponsor:TAA airlines.
TRIVIA: Naked cover model is Lynne Sweeney, who 5 years later married Jackson Browne.
Band includes:
ACE FOLLINGTON (ex-Chain, The Cleves, Country Radio)
ANDY MacDONALD (ex-Street Talk [NZ], Hello Sailor [NZ])
Track listing:
CONDITION - COVER: ( VG++ ) ...has light ringwear, and minor crinkles/creases...
CONDITION - RECORD: ( VG++ )...has almost all of its original shine, with a few light 'hair-line' marks...
CONDITION - LABELS: (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT )...
PACKAGING AND MAILING: Absolutely ALL care will be taken when packaging this - record and sleeve will be separated to avoid any damage in transit, and both will be packed in a sealed outer light plastic sleeve between layers of strong very flat and thick card - I've been doing this for a while and have attained a good safe packing standard.
If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).

Thanks for considering this...Cheers, Jules.
