It was a triumphant return to Carnegie Hall for the virtuoso, who to that point (1965) hadn’t played a concert for twelve years.

Here Mr. Horowitz delivers with aplomb music of Chopin, Bach-Busoni, Scriabin, Schumann, Debussy, and Moszkowski.

Cover of this copy is without fault, while both 2-eye heavy platters (Mono) are near mint. Note, too, an enclosed NY Times article entitled “The New Horowitz” and the cover is autographed by the maestro.



For those unfamiliar, the very popular Vladimir Horowitz had a flat-fingered technique when playing piano, that, to some, made him appear to massage notes from the keyboard.

(Canada is $13.50; $3 each additional.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
