Description
Getz/Gilberto original gatefold LP (Verve, 1964) - a true treasure for any jazz collector. The front of the record features the autograph of the legendary Stan Getz. The 12" vinyl is a first pressing and plays at 33 RPM with stereo sound.
The album features Antonio Carlos Jobim and the iconic track "The Girl from Ipanema" featuring the transcendent Astrud Gilberto. Other familiar tracks include like “Desafinado” and “Corcovado” and the album can be appreciated by jazz, Latin jazz and just plain music fans alike.

The vinyl itself is visually in very good condition (VG), playback features some cracks and pops frequently heard on LPs of this era - may also be my equipment. The paper inner sleeve is intact but shows age and the fair (F) condition outer sleeve shows some wear. Inside gatefold has an owner’s name and address stamp as frequently seen in this era.
