Description

AUTOSALVAGE S/T Mono PROMO 1968 Zappa "discovered" band (he suggested they use the name from his favorite song of theirs). Recorded at the end of 1967 and released in January of 1968, recorded in New York at RCA studio, this is the first and only release by Autosalvage.
Pressed in Indianapolis as indicated by the "2" printed on the back cover. Promo stickers covering the front and a section where someone attempted to remove one.
MONO edition that is much bassier and rocks harder than the stereo edition. This release sound "ahead of it's time" to me, almost 90's sounding at times, it is unique and original, no annoying psychedelic sloppiness here, just good blues based jams and tight song structures, a helluva a fun listen!
VINYL in near mint condition, super clean and sounds killer, looks to have never been played, the center spindle looks new!
COVER in VG with several PROMO stickers attached and one removed to reveal paper underneath. Ring wear on front with some paper loss in the ring, corner bumps, chipping in area around the spine and corners, but all seams and spine are intact, no splits. Cutout hole in upper right hand corner, small area on back where small teat obscures part of the lyrics on the first song, small sticker residue on back.
INNER sleeve in VG condition, 1" split in middle of bottom seam, the cutout hole is on the inner as well.
Will safely pack in proper mailer, new mo-fi inner sleeve included and will ship record outside the cover to avoid splitting.
