Necessary b/w Have You Seen My Lady ACETATE 45 on Angel Sound. Unfortunately, there is no name listed on the labels, and I just couldn't find anything on the web for the combination of these two song titles or "Have You Seen My Lady" in combination with "Soul" or "Modern Soul", and I even checked it with Shazam. In light of this acetate featuring just the song titles makes me think that this was made for/given to someone closely associated with this recording, as they would have known who the artist was. Even though the B-side song title is listed as, "Have You Seen My Lady", the chorus hook is sung as "Have You Seen My Julie", so I'm unsure if the typed title is correct or if it was an error, and it should have been listed as, "Have You Seen My Julie", but I'll leave that to you to research. This just may happen to be an unknown, but very cool Modern Soul find, so make sure you give it a spin, as I'm sure you'll dig it.

Just a note for those unfamiliar with metal acetates - these records are extra heavy from the center of the record being made of metal. These records are the first versions ever cut from the master tapes (even before test pressings or promo copies and sound the best) for the purpose of feedback on the mix by those involved in the recording process. These discs were expensive to make, so very few, if no more than one are usually made and as you can imagine, these discs are quite RARE and sometimes the mixes can be different from the final release, therefore acetates are SUPER RARE and highly sought after!!!

The white labeled vinyl on this acetate is in very good - very good plus condition with a few whispy sleeve marks and light scratches.
