45RPM RDC-1 – Japanese Pressing –
AWESOME!

Allow me to put the gauntlet down… for I do believe, save for a few, special records...there is no better pressing available, extant, than the discs Rca presses at 45RPM in Japan.

One listen to this disc, just moments of it, will alleviate any doubt.  The dynamics are extraordinary, simply "alive" in your listening room.

And the pieces, modern works for flute and percussion, have every ability to take a very fine hi-fi system  into rubble, if you are not careful.

Start with the Stockhausen, as the attack and merciless percussive nature of the music will have your power company calling and your pets running for the belfry.  Not that ECLOGUE, wherein the flute appears, is the least bit less dramatic.

(Use listening-room seatbelts, ok?)

Among the top twenty-five records on the planet, in every audiophile library I know of.

This copy has a cover with only mild edge beginning, it’s overall appearance crisp, like new.  Inside, is the original enclosure explaining the proceedings, and a 45RPM record that will play near mint.  Very clean.

Please batten down the hatches before you play this record, as it is unlike anything you have ever heard. That, I promise you.

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States.   Internationally, $14 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter.  (Canada is half that.)  Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $5, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail.   Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
