.
One of the more original groups from the 1960's British Blues Revival; Dunbar's group sound was darker and heavier than most of their contemporaries, owing greatly to Victor Brox' deep, soulful, often mournful vocals and his gloomy, almost gothic organ. This amidst superb biting chops from lead guitarist John Moorshead, a very solid, bottom heavy bass from Alex Dmochowsky and the always brilliant drumming of Ansley Dunbar. Victor Brox was one of the top echelon of British Blues singers, with a power and soulful impact to rival Eric Burdon or Chris Youlden. Compelling and delectable.
