SETTLE IN FOR A LONG RUN OF COLLECTABLE LPs OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES!! This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1969 U.S. PRESS BLUE THUMB RECORDS WHITE LABEL PROMO COPY of the 1969 LP titled 'Doctor Dunbar's Prescription' from The Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, a nice British blues outfit put together by ubiquitous British blues / rock and former Frank Zappa drummer Aynsley Dunbar. It is Blue Thumb Records catalog number BTS 6, white label promo with a sticker to that effect on the front cover and two additional inscriptions to that effect on the labels, one of which does not appear in my accompanying image. Personnel: Aynsley Dunbar-drums / Victor Brox-12-string guitar, organ, cornet, vocals / Alex Dmochowski-bass, guitar / John Moorshead-lead guitar, vocals. Tracks: Change Your Low Down Ways, The Fugitive, Till Your Lovin' Makes Me Blue, Now That You've Lost Me, I Tried, Call My Woman, The Devil Drives, Low Gear Man, Tuesday's Blues, Mean Old World. Visual condition of record is a real nice NM- with just one or two barely existent sleeve marks which are not the result of use, only visible under strong light, cannot be felt, and do not affect play. Condition of cover is a high VG+ with a square sticker that reads 'Special Promotion' partly covering the original Blue Thumb Records factory promo sticker, a little contact wear, and a little wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no splits, writing, tears, or stickers. If you enjoy the British blues of early Fleetwood Mac, early Ten Years After, or The Yardbirds, you will enjoy this LP - A choice addition to any late 1960s British blues record collection!
