Description
Before you go any further if you're looking for pristine copies of these classic / rare vinyl records unfortunately the vinyl I have isn't in that condition.
But then again the artwork / covers range from good to Very good and if you were to try & buy these Lp's in pristine condition you'd need to pay well over $200 for The Aztecs with Thorpe, LLoyd ....... & another over $200 for the 2 Chain Lp's. I am starting the auction at $19.99 as I have no intention of letting them go for nothing as the art work of The Aztecs & Chain's Toward The Blues will make fantastic framed posters. I will now describe each of the Lp's condition.
- THE FIRST; THE AZTECS, THE HOAX IS OVER, INFINITY AUSTRALIA STEREO SINL-934092 IS DEFINITELY THE WORST. THE COVER IS FULLY INTACT WITHOUT ANY RIPS BUT IS GETTING FRAYED ABOUT THE SEAMS. CLASSIC GATEFOLD IS AS PHOTO, A LITTLE WORN AND A LITTLE FADED BUT GOOD. THE VINYL IS PRETTY BEAT UP WITH SCRATCHES THAT WILL WITHOUT ANY DOUBT AFFECT THE PLAY. SIDE 1 HAS SOME BAD DEEP LOOKING SCRATCHES. SIDE 2 WHILST NOT AS BAD IS STILL SCRATCHED.
- THIS ONE IS BETTER; CHAIN, TOWARDS THE BLUES, INFINITY STEREO SINL-934295. THE GATEFOLD IS FAIRLY GOOD EXCEPT FOR A NAME & PHONE NUMBER ON THE OPEN GATEFOLD BAND PHOTO AND A LITTLE FRAYING AROUND THE SEEMS. BOTH SIDES OF THIS VINYL HAVE SCRATCHES ALTHOUGH NOT TO THE EXTENT OF THE AZTECS I WOULDN'T EXPECT THIS TO PLAY WITHOUT SIGNIFICANT NOISE / CRACKLES ETC.
- THE LAST CHAIN, LIVE AGAIN, INFINITY STEREO SINL 934568 IS DEFINITELY THE BETTER OF THE THREE. THE COVER HERE IS VERY GOOD. THE VINYL HAS SOME MARKS & SCRATCHES BUT I THINK THE LP WILL PLAY OK ALTHOUGH THERE WILL BE SOME BACKGROUND NOISE.
So Buyers please be aware of the condition of the Vinyl of these Super Rare & Pivotal Lp's of these 2 Australian Bands before bidding.
