Description
Aaliyah’s self-titled studio album “AALIYAH” released July 2001. This is the original first press upon its release in ‘01 from the USA. First pressings of this album in a condition as good as this are extremely rare now.
This is the US edition with 14 tracks:
Vinyl 1
A 1. We Need A Resolution (ft. Timbaland)
A 2. Loose Rap (ft. Static Major of “Playa”)
A 3. Rock The Boat
B 1. More Than A Woman
B 2. Never No More
B 3. I Care 4 U
Vinyl 2
C 1. Extra Smooth
C 2. Read Between The Lines
C 3. U Got Nerve
C 4. I Refuse
D 1. It’s Whatever
D 2. I Can Be
D 3. Those Were The Days
D 4. What If
Test played - no issues!
Album cover is gatefold edition with very minimal shelf-ware if any (see photos). Ideal condition for display purposes if that’s your thing. Centre fold has song credits information and album thanks you’s. Front cover still has the original hype sticker promoting the lead single at the time “We Need A Resolution”.
I included a close up picture of the 2nd vinyl’s sticker on side C. Seemed to be a factory issue where they double stuck it and removed it but it does not reach the track area, so doesn’t affect the playing at all.
This is a truly iconic album and has been in my collection for many years and I’m certain it’ll become a great addition to the next owners collection!
