PAYPAL ONLY FOR THIS ITEM UNLESS I KNOW YOU PERSONALLY. The Abandoned-Come On Mary/Around And Around. Super rare Illinois garage punk 45 on self-titled label. Both sides have many scuffs and light scratches and there is visible groove wear that causes very light background hiss on the "Come On Mary" a-side. However, during the backing vocals "Come On, come on" which happens for 2 seconds 10 times during the song, there is that louder vibratory annoying groove wear to a moderate degree (as this type of groove wear sound goes, it is medium loud-not light or very heavy). And this only happens during the backing vocal for 2 seconds each time it comes around. Except for this defect, the rest of the side plays a very nice vg. The b-side, "Around and Around", however, has much more of this louder annoying type groove wear that goes in step with the r. guitar all through the song. Unlike the much better playing a-side, I can't handle the b-side. Not a great song anyway as this record is big for the a-side, "Come On Mary". There is one micro tear on b-side label (black on black, not in print area) and seems to be a small #5 above "The Abandoned" label name on a-side that goes slightly into one of the letters. It appears to be black mark on black label and is not even visible in the picture because it is barely noticeable in person. Without the visible groove wear both sides would look a decent vg but because of the groove wear I am giving the both sides a visual grade of VG-. A-side gets a play grade of VG except for the backing vocal bits which play G-. The b-side gets a play grade of Poor though it does play thru fine w/o skips. Any questions, happy to answer.
