Description

Abbey Lincoln        That's Him!       mono    Riverside RLP 12-251  Blue label Deep groove

Sonny Rollins (ts), Kenny Dorham (t), Wynton Kelly (p), Paul Chambers (b), Max Roach (d) Recorded 1957

Blue label and deep groove both sides.  "553 West 51st Street" address on back.

The record looks VG++/M- and plays VG++.  Would play grade better but it's a very quiet record.  Side 1 has a scuff across track 1 that doesn't affect play.  Side 2 looks clean.  Record plays with very light surface noise due to vinyl quality.  Grooves look bright and glossy and  do not show damage or wear.

The cover is very strong VG++.

The front cover is gorgeous, very bright and glossy with some scratching and two very small pieces of slick missing above the word "Bacon". There's also the hint of ring wear in certain light.   The back cover has light wear and hint of ring wear. No split seams.  The spine is intact, tight and bright.  Tiny spot of wear at the bottom of the spine.  All the corners are tight and sharp.

Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on cover.

My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
