Description
Few records capture the raw ignition point of European heavy metal like Restless And Wild. This is the album where Accept stopped knocking and kicked the damn door in.
From the opening blast of “Fast As A Shark”—often cited as one of the earliest speed metal recordings ever put to vinyl—to the epic, anthemic power of “Princess of the Dawn,” this LP is a cornerstone of 80s metal history. Razor-sharp riffs, militant rhythms, and that unmistakable Teutonic steel edge that influenced everything from thrash to power metal.
This is a true early-80s US Portrait Records pressing, not a modern reissue or digital-era cut. Original artwork, original sequencing, original impact. If your collection leans toward authentic metal lineage, this one belongs on your shelf.
A foundational record from a band that helped shape the sound of heavy metal as we know it.
Fast. Loud. Relentless. Essential.
