Description
Ace Bentley - Beatboys/ Sometimes In The Night
(Traffic Light Records TL 181 UK 7" 1981)
This is a UK original 7" single pressing. This is, I believe, a "DIY" or "Private Press" single. It comes with its original Picture Sleeve which is printed on shiny matt card. The record has solid paper labels & has 1st press matrix numbers. The A-side is a very good Post-Punk/ Powerpop track. It is available, I believe, to hear on Youtube. The B-side is very good too.
Sleeve: Unfortunately, at some point in the past, this sleeve has suffered some water damage. It is over the bottom 4 cm of the sleeve. It has left some staining and a few tears at the bottom too (see photos). The very corner tip at the bottom spine is torn away. Otherwise, mild to more moderate ringwear. Good condition
Vinyl: Looks to be near unplayed! There are a few minimal or very light sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. EX+ condition. The labels are in Very Near Mint condition & show next to no spindle wear.
I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall & Excellent+ in some places. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places.
All gradings adhere to UK "Record Collector" specifications. Please be aware that I am an experienced record dealer of 25+ years, all gradings will be completely accurate. So please bid with confidence.
