Item Description

This by far is one of the rarest british Adam and the Ants and Toyah records from the punk Era. This is the withdrawn sleeve of the Maneaters signal nine to Five and autographed by Adam to Umesh in black marker( can't be seen in the picture as the sleeve is dark purple colour) . This was signed on 1991 by Adam Ant during the vacation of Adam's offices in Wimbledon. When he saw the record his words were " where did you get this sleeve from as it was stopped it from being released, he did have a copy of it".  We have only seen this picture sleeve twice as it was withdrawn before release it appears a handful go out. If you are looking for that something rare then this is it and those of you who collect the punk picture sleeves this is a must.

The second 1982 single to be lifted from the 1977 Jubilee soundtrack due to the success of Adam And The Ants.  Even though this is credited to The Maneaters, it features Dave Barbe on drums, andAdam Ant on bass, harmonica and backing vocals.  Toyah is featured on lead vocal using a lyric that also turned up on a later track of hers called "Alien", which is the B-side to "I Want To Be Free"

Delivery

Delivery times to a UK address

Should be within, 2 to 4 working days, but please note the Post Office will not consider a missing parcel enquiry until 15 working days have passed.  Please remember that Royal Mail only collect on normal working days so if you place an order at the weekend or near a bank holiday period please allow a few extra days for dispatch and delivery.

Delivery times to an overseas address

Should be within a Week or so but have often been known to take up to 3 weeks.

Please note the UK Post Office will not consider an overseas missing parcel enquiry until after a month of posting

Undelivered items

If any parcel is returned to us because either the buyer failed to collect it or if the delivery address given by the buyer is incorrect/ incomplete.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay for it to be re-posted.

QUALITY OF THE ITEMS OFFERED

Our aim is to supply quality records, CD’s and other music related items.

Each item listing will show a specific condition grading (see grading system below). Because of the quantity I sell, the majority of gradings are visual. All items are packed and dispatched by me in strong packaging.

GRADING SYSTEM

SS: Still sealed, should be mint and has not been played.

Mint: Insert and any extra items are in perfect condition. CD/disc is brand new

Near Mint: Insert is nice and new looking with very slight signs of wear, CD/disc has some very slight surface marks, but with no lessening in sound quality.

EX: Insert has some slight wear, and is still in nice collectible condition. CD very clean, only light surface marks which will not distract significantly from the sound

VG: Insert may have medium overall wear. CD/disc  played often with moderate surface wear - still plays well.

NB. Any disc grading less than this, in the majority of cases, we will give a specific condition/comment

Jewel cases on CD are not graded as they can be replaced only the insert and CD is graded
