THIS IS A SUPER RARE WHITE LABEL PROMO LP WITH THE TIMING STRIP ON THE FRONT COVER AND A GOLD PROMO STAMP STATING "DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE" ON THE REAR COVER. ALSO HAS THE ORIGINAL TEXTURED COVER.
Up for sale is one (1) Aerosmith - Rocks LP from 1976 on Columbia Records (#PC 34165). Because this was a Promo copy, it does not include the custom inner sleeve that was included with the commercial release.
This is a WHITE LABEL PROMO. The label state "DEMONSTRATION - NOT FOR SALE".
Also has a GOLD PROMO STAMP on the rear cover.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME! But you may hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.
The Vinyl is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticible during the quiet parts.
Nice, clean labels with some spindle marks.
The Textured cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, ring wear, scrapes, dents, fading, creases and crumples, etc... There are no split seams.
The Timing Strip / Sticker is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age. There is no writing on the Timing Strip. There is some bubling, creasing, small tears and one corner is peeling up. (please see pics)
