Description
This is a NM, virtually unplayed copy of the 2xlp "Ashes Against the Grain" by underground American Black Metal group Agalloch. This is the black vinyl edition, which was pressed in numbers of 400 quantity. As for myself, I'm partial to black vinyl as opposed to coloured and clear vinyl because the sound quality is usually a touch better with the black, but hey, to each their own.
I purchased this new immediately upon release, along with the cd version for everyday listening. Now I've come to the point that I no longer need to have both formats, and this one will help with some expenses I incurred during my recent move of house. Suffice to say that the records are both in essentially immaculate condition, as is the entire package. The gatefold sleeve is perfect, the inner sleeves are flawless, everything is as if it was just taken out of the cellophane moments ago.
Yes, this item is very much OUT OF PRINT. Though also released as a cd, the vinyl version contains a 19+ minute bonus track on side D that is not available on the cd format. This black vinyl version was pressed in the same number as the solid orange quantity, both in runs of 400 each. As I mentioned above, the difference is in the sound quality. There is an edition of 200 count that were pressed in splatter orange/clear vinyl, and those are of course a bit more rare. I know that even though the shop I worked at ordered this release immediately when it became available, we did not receive any of those splatter pressings, and of this version, only a limited number at best. The time has come to clean some house and pay some bills, so good luck and enjoy bidding on this. I would highly recommend looking at the other items I've posted this week as well, especially the other Agalloch vinyl.

Record will ship within 3 business days of receipt of payment. As the maximum limit for shipping and handling allowed by ebay is less than the cost of any other domestic rate than Media Mail, that's the option I offer. This is a double lp and is relatively heavy vinyl, so the cost of shipping is rather more for first class postage. If you live within the U.S. and wish it to be sent first class, please contact me by email and we can work something out. I charge the actual postage cost + a very small amount for safe packaging. International shipping is as listed below, and will be sent USPS First Class Mail International, with handling included in that price.
Paypal only. Return accepted for full refund, but for defect only. This record plays perfectly, so this should not be an issue. If for some reason it is defective for you, you must contact me within 7 days of receipt of item. Item must be returned to me, and a full refund will be given through PayPal.
Thanks for your interest, and please check my other listings for more out of print and obscure music.
