Description

Agnostic Front – United Blood EP (1983) Original Skinhead Label Vinyl 7” 45 RPM – RARE NYHC

Original 1983 pressing of Agnostic Front’s United Blood EP, limited to just 500 copies and hand-assembled by the band.

Super rare Skinhead B-side label version and includes the insert!

The jacket is overall really clean. There is tape along the sides, which was applied around the time of release. These jackets are notoriously difficult to find in nice condition and almost always have some type of wear, abrasion, or other issue.

The vinyl also looks really clean upon inspection. I’ve personally never played it, but visually it’s in great shape, especially for an early ’80s hardcore record.

Overall, this is a really nice copy of an extremely hard-to-find NYHC classic. Please see all photos for the exact condition.

As far as rarity between the Skinhead B-side label and blank-label versions, I’m honestly not sure which is technically rarer. I’ve personally seen more blank-label copies surface recently and fewer Skinhead labels, although I’ve also heard there may be fewer blank-label copies. My feeling is that the pressing was probably somewhere around a 50/50 mix.

Notes for discogs:

500 copies made in one pressing, with the pressing job being handled with the help of Mob Style Records. Due to a pressing plant error, some of the "skinhead" B-side labels accidentally ended up on another artist's record, and thus a portion of the Agnostic Front records have a blank label on the B-side, instead of the proper "skinhead" label. The amount of each version is unknown.

Sleeves are heavy cardboard/cardstock and some variation of the printing exists, some are darker than others. These do not represent separate printings -- all copies were printed in one batch, and all copies have clear cellophane tape on the sides.

Insert is a double-sided photocopied 8.5"x11" sheet with photos on one side and a collage/thanks list on the opposite side. Some variations of the insert exist, as the band updated the photos and text as they were printed (see images). Not all copies had an insert. No lyrics are printed on the insert, but a lyric insert was made up in 1987 and included in issue 7 of Schism Fanzine from New York City.

Some copies also included a small sticker of the band logo, rubber-stamped on sticker paper.
