Now almost deaf, dedicated jazz fan/audiophile offers from my record library of some 1000 items, Ahmad Jamal THE AWAKENING impulse! AS-9194 LP, Ahmad Jamal Trio. Gatefold jacket shelf wear/discolored, sleeve tight/discolored. Vinyl LP in excellent condition, from new affectionately cared for, always stored vertically inside my smoke free homes, and carefully handled, thumb to edge, fingers on label. Record has not been played in years, then sparingly on quality turntables with tone arms and cartridges. Release Date: 1970
As Miles Davis readily acknowledged, Ahmad Jamal was an influence on his, Miles', music. Apparently, Miles learned the use of 'space' between notes.
