Aida - Complete Set of Seventeen 10" Acoustic Columbia Records
This is an early operatic set that rarely turns up complete. The records are all domestic Columbia Magic Note labels, either green or blue. The picture illustrates the first record in the set. Artists include Tommasini, Remondini, Bettoni, Lopez-Nunez, Formichi and more. The catalog numbers run in four blocks: E1934 to E1938, E1988 to E1992, E2025 to E2028, and E2095 to E2097. Unlike the early Victor sets of the same era, there is a degree of continuity to the performance. All records are in very good to excellent condition with no defects except for a few harmless surface marks here and there. I'll give the entire set a conservative grade of 9 on a scale of 10. Don't miss out - it will be a while before you encounter this important historic set complete again.
