Description

Obscure rocker, Al Allen, playing "Egghead" and "I'm Beat" on Carlton 511 from 1959. This promo record looks VG++ with minor surface markings but plays in NM condition and comes in a Carlton factory sleeve. This instrumental rocker is reminiscent of the Duane Eddy rockabilly style with a bit of surf-rhythmic style thrown in. These are the early golden Carlton labels - not the later red labels.
