Alan Jack, whose real name is Jacques Braud, was an organist , pianist , composer ,singer of blues French, born August 3, 1944at Tours in Indre-et-Loire and died November 21, 1995. It was originally the groups Gentlemen (1960-64), Alan Jack Group (1965-68), Alan Jack Civilization (1969-70), Zig-Zag, Alan jack Mutation (1974), Magnum (1975 ) with Patrick Verbeke and Benoit Blue Boy , Jack and Alan and Alan's Nordett the Jack Post-Civilization (1992).
Since the sixties, he drags in all the magical places of rock n'roll , starting with the Golf Drouot , thelocomotive , the Alhambra (with Spencer Davis , Bill Haley , Pretty Things ), the Olympia ... This is the time of "Gentlemen" (1960-64), the group ALAN JACK (1965-68) with René Guerin and especially ALAN JACK Civilization (1969-70) with R.Fontaine, C. Olmos and J.Falissard. They will record their first 33 on the label BYG Records "Bluesy Mind" (1969), and a 45 rpm 'Shame on you' (1969). 1970: New 45t: "I need the Earth" with Pewzner and Alain René Guerin who leave later with Martin Circus .70 to 74, living together on a farm in Touraine; Birth of the Zig-Zag community together twenty musicians ... musical experiences, creations, free concerts, participation in community festivals.
1970s, Alan Jack's Group plays well in Pigalle ...

In the early 1980s, his drug addiction worsens, and he joined a community therapeutic Patriarch (Lucien Engelmajer ). There he met the son of the Senator-Mayor of Caen Jean-Marie Girault , Vincent Girault a drummer and a guitarist exceptional. From 86 GB'S Alan Jack (with Cok Germain , Stéphane Barral , Olivier Gicquel ) play covers of Rhythm and Blues and a few pieces of Jack. and the same year arrives on the scene ALAN JACK'S NORDETT and (Pierô Moino and backing vocals) which will run for five years in France, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland ... Start 92, Alan Jack continues his journey with Mis Pierô vocals and percussion ... it is ALAN JACK POST CIVILIZATION accompanied by a guitar, bass and drums. Recording of the album "Alan Jack Civilization Post" in 1992. The only album with songs in French. Jack disappears in 1995 in Tours leaving his friends in the blues!
