 Albert Ayler Trio  ' Spiritual Unity '  ESP 1002 ( USA ) probably the first issue of this record because has a red drawing on front and back cover plus has red print lettering  on cover and on labels - The address on label is Riverside Drive and matrix on side A is ESP 1002 A with ear and on side B is ESP 1002M B with ear. On side A label is deep groove. There is also a 12 pages booklet by Paul Hines (1965) with text and more drawings similar to the cover design. I do not believe this booklet is the original one because it strongly looks like a photocopy or a xerox copy.   Albert Ayler : tenor sax - Gary Peacock : bass - Sunny Murray : drums recorded in New York City on July 10th, 1964 Side A : Ghosts (first variation)  -  The wizard Side B : Spirits  -  Ghosts (second variation) All music composed by Albert Ayler   Visually grading : record is VG / VG+ has some surface marks and 2 or 3 scuffs and plays with some background noise mostly on side B but is still a fine copy and in most parts plays EX. Cover is VG+  shows signs of the age because is a little yellowing and little dirty on front and back and has the bottom seam well repaired  /  booklet in EX++ condition (xerox or photocopy)
