Description
Awesome New Orleans jazz by Albert Wynne(wynn) on Vocalion 1220. "Parkway Stomp" by Albert Wynne and his Gut Bucket Five, and other side is "Down By The Levee" by Wynn's Creole Jazz Band. Don't know why his last name is spelled differently on each side. Audibly & visually grade this VG+. No bad graying. HOWEVER there is a minor issue: this has about a 3/8" tight hairline and another about the same on the outer edge of the record. One of them you have to look hard for. I have had this record about 12 years and they have not gotten bigger. Cannot hear them. "Levee" plays great with only a light hiss while "Parkway" has just a bit more. No skips or bad crackling. Labels look great (see photos). Has a very slight wobble when spinning. This is just great music! "Levee" has vocals and "Parkway" has some "scatting". I love this record and hate parting with it, but I need money for my son's college. Tremendous record to own even with the minor defects. This doesn't turn up often. Glad to answer any questions. I have good feedback on records: both grading and packing. This is shipped in a sleeve between 6 pcs. of cardboard wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a 12x12x6" new box with peanuts. Ships media mail unless you pay for Priority. Insurance will be added. DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU GET MY INVOICE! Disregard the $4.00 shipping charge. Shipping in the lower 48 is 4.75 unless you want Priority. International bidders email for quote BEFORE BIDDING! Thanks and God bless!
