Description
The label information on what is on these shellac records is fully in Japanese, so I cannot ascertain what is on the records. They are all produced by Nippon Columbia, probably in the 1940s. There are four of them, two with purple labels numbered B 126 and B 127, and two with brown labels numbered A 1557 and A 1618. Record B 127 did come with a sheet of information - none present for the 78's. Please see photos for the labels of each record.
The cloth Columbia album itself is solid but with some soiling and with light edge and corner wear. The four paper sleeves have some tears and are stiff with age. There is a few white specks seen on a few of the surfaces. I carefully scratched one off to see if they can be removed - I'll leave the removal of others to the purchaser (who may have good methods to remove these without damage). Otherwise, the SHELLAC LOOKS VERY PLAYABLE, likely rarely played with no scratches seen. I'll grade them VG++.
