Description

Alex Harvey - The Joker Is Wild. ( 1972 Metronome German only. Very 1st pressing. MLP 15429 stereo ) Here it is.....the infamous cancelled rarity that Alex himself had stopped as they were trying to cash in on the newly successful SAHB. Metronome twice tried to release this. The re ( tried ) release has a different cover featuring TSAHB but this is the VERY first pressing with blue red and white fully laminated cover. Rarely shows up now and is almost up there with Roman Wall Blues in rarity. Also a very rare chance to hear the Harvey brothers together as it features Les Harvey on lead guitar!....fascinating stuff....grab it while you can !!....Fully laminated cover has no drill holes ( most do )....tiny tear on rear has been well repaired. Slight ringwear. Crisp opening edges. EX. Two tone Metronome labels show very little signs of use. EX. Vinyl lies flat and true on the platter. Playing surfaces gleam . Some fine marks seen under spotlight . Sleeve removal traces only. Very little use obviously. Fantastic audio. Some would say ex plus. But I will go for a very strong EX... you won't see this for a while if ever again in the UK.....any questions please get in touch. Gordon. NB : overseas buyers please wait for your individual postage calculation before paying. Thank you.
