Description

Alexander O'Neal, "Do You Dare" b/w "Playroom" (Erect 1217). Terrific 12" single, plays at 33 rpm. Autographed and dedicated -- see my scans. 1982 release, credited simply to Alexander, but we all know him by his full name, Alexander O'Neal. Side 1 offers blistering electro-funk, Minneapolis-style, sure to fill your dance floor. Meanwhile, the flip side offers a great example of Alexander's ballad singing mastery. The vinyl is Mint-minus. Play graded, strict grading. The otherwise-basic autographed cover is VG+, with light ringwear. There's a 2-inch gold embossed promo stamp on the otherwise plain white back side. The recipient of the dedication was a music critic at the time, and he was the only other owner of this RARE promo. Really enjoyed listening to this one again -- it brought back nice memories!
