1969/Cdn/Columbia CS-9831.............Alexander Spence was the troubled drummer/guitarist with two of the greatest psychedelic 60s bands (Jefferson Airplane and Mobey Grape) but he is best remembered for this album which sold poorly at the time of it s release, but has been praised over the years buy musicians and critics and has gained a status as the lost classic. He plays all the instruments himself........the tracks are....Little Hands, Cripple Creek, Diana, Margaret-Tiger Rug, Weighted Down, War In Peace, Broken Heart, All Come To Meet Her, Books Of Moses, Dixie Peach Promenade, Lawrence Of Euphoria, and Grey/Afro....this is an original Canadian pressing, the cover is in decent condition, there is a sticker tear and remains of that sticker top right, moderate ring wear top and bottom, light spotty edge/corner wear, tiny neat drill hole top right, minor soiling on white back, no splits, solid and ok, the vinyl is in shiny VG+ condition, main problem are some small grit scratches mostly on side 1, side one plays through with light noise, there are some more noticeable light ticks/pops especially on the 4th and 5th tracks, still nothing really too distracting, side two plays Excellent with little noise, a must have and a decent copy here for a low opening bid!, please check my auctions for other psych and rock lp's, good luck and thanks for looking!
