Description

Alice Cooper LOVE IT TO DEATH on white label promo vinyl lp. Original pressing on Frank Zappa's Straight Records, a division of Bizarre Inc. With the original BANNED Thumb cover gatefold jacket.
Vinyl: Visual grade: NM-/VG+. The vinyl is shiny & glossy and overall clean with some hairline scuffs/customary wear visible when held to a light. I have played this lp and it sounds great. I would grade it VG+ for some customary sound of wear occasionally audible, but overall this white label promo pressing sounds great with clean sound. It is even relatively quiet between tracks for some songs.
This lp comes with the original controversial cover showing Alice Cooper's thumb sticking through his cape in a suggestive manor which was later pulled and banned by Warner Brothers Records. Later WB pressings had a different photo of the band on the front cover; a photo without the suggestive protruding thumb.
This lp comes in the original Straight Records Co. paper inner sleeve. It also comes with a promo sticker on the upper left side on the front cover as well as a DJ time strip at the bottom; see photos.
Side 1  Caught in a Dream I'm Eighteen Long Way to Go Black Juju
Side 2 Is it My Body Hallowed Be My Name Second Coming Ballad of Dwight Fry Sun Arise
Please see the posted photos for condition. The photos are of the actual lp you will receive.
