Alice Cooper LP - Pretties For You Straight 1051 Uncensored Cover 1969 pressing
Record condition: VG
Sleeve condition: VG

The record has some very light marks and light hairlines visible under bright light and plays with light crackle audible between tracks and during quieter passages. You may hear an occasional light tick here and there, but nothing distracting. I played the album through and was not bothered by the occasional surface noise. There is a slightly deeper mark on the one minute track "B.B. On Mars" that is raised enough to be feelable with a fingernail. You do hear occasional ticking on this track, but it’s a pretty loud song so it’s not that noticeable. The ticking is mainly audible in the groove before the track and in the groove after the track is over.

The jacket has corner wear, shelf wear, light spine wear, light soiling, light general wear, and light foxing visible on the cover. Some areas of the cover (particularly the corners) are worn to the white cardboard beneath the cover slick. There is a small split on the inside of the gatefold that does not go through the spine and is not visible on the spine. The left corner of the back cover has a corner bump and light creasing. This bump is only slightly noticeable on the front cover. The record is housed in a new generic white inner sleeve.

I grade LPs based on a conservative interpretation of the Goldmine standard. This means that a VG+ record is in very nice shape and should have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. A record with sustained surface noise will be at best a VG. All records are play-graded since not all surface noise can be detected visually. All records are shipped in new Whiplash mailers with cardboard backing with the sleeved record outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits.

Below is more thorough info on my grading system:

NM: Surfaces essentially look new. This is the highest rating I give used records.
VG+: Very nice shape. May have a few stray very light hairlines and/or light paper scuffs visible under bright light. Will have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. No feelable marks.
VG: Has hairlines and/or paper scuffs and has audible surface noise particularly between songs and during quieter passages.
G+: Has more pronounced hairlines and paper scuffs and may have a few small feelable marks, but still no skips.
