(GERMAN Straight, 1C 062-92 463, 1971)

Ideal for collectors!! RARE FIRST GERMAN PRESSING in the BANNED THUMB COVER!! Firstly, let's get one thing Straight (get it?)... this album was the last release on Frank Zappa & Herb Cohen's Straight label and was only in print for a short time before being changed to the more common green Warner Brothers labels (that goes for US, UK and European pressings...) That makes this the rarest Straight album in my opinion. The UK pressing (which never came in the thumb cover) is the rarest, then the European (German/French etc.), then the US. You can see why the 'thumb' cover was banned - on first glance it looks like Vince has something very rude on display (see pic.4) I have also shown comparison with the banned sleeve on pic.3. This is in lovely shape and will not turn up again for quite a while!!


Disc is NM : no surface marks, looks and sounds great!!

Laminated 'unipak' gatefold sleeve is VG++ : name sticker on inside, light edge creases and small laminate peel at spine, lovely solid shape overall!!
