All Melody
Nils Frahm is a German musician, composer and record producer based in Berlin. He is known for combining classical and electronic music and for an unconventional approach to the piano in which he mixes a grand piano, upright piano, Roland Juno-60, Rhodes piano, drum machines, and Moog Taurus. For the past two years, Nils has been building a brand new studio in Berlin to make his 7th studio album titled All Melody. Totally deconstructed then reconstructed, the studio is named Saal3 and is part of the historical 1950s East German Funkhaus building beside the River Spree. Now being totally uninhibited in his own studio, the concept of the album is 'Freedom' as the environment allowed Nils to focus purely on the melody from the sanctity of his own studio. Inertia is honoured to release this new album from the premier artist in ambient electronic music.
