Description

This item is a very rare, very hard-to-find vinyl LP pressing of the album entitled We’re No Angels, a live compilation from the King Biscuit Flower Hour by the legendary Allman Brothers. This album was released by the DIR Radio Network, and this 2-LP set was sent only to radio stations for airplay in 1990. It is pressed onto multi-colored, translucent colored vinyl and is one of 250 made. This set collects performances by the band spanning from Dickey Betts; Great Southern from 1977, to the ABB at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ – one of the greatest rock and roll venues ever, and one that I frequented in my youth – from 1982; a show at Madison Square Garden in 1986; and a performance in Austin, Texas in 1987, as part of the Allmans’ 20th Anniversary Tour. This album is unavailable on CD and the tracks here are, to my knowledge, not available anywhere else. I have never even seen another pressing of this album, and it has been offered on eBay only very rarely before.

The vinyl is near mint and the sleeve has very very minor corner scuffs.I will e mail detailed photos if required. I have put a reasonable starting price on this album as I would rather retain and sell at a later date than sell for what I consider too low a price.

I will post to most locations so please ask for costs .
